I know this isn't the best pic. I have a 12 week old pup that has a sore on her back leg. At first I thought it as a hot spot as it was a circle w/ hair loss. In the pass couple of days it has gotten very thick and is like a thick callous and is raised. It is dry and not weeping or like an open sore. It doesn't appear to bother her as she isn't scratching or picking at it. Any idea what it could be or how I should treat it? If it doesn't start to get better I'll take her to the vet. Thanks in advance for you help. Pete

try clorox.. it may be a fungus or ringworm.. put clorox on rag or cotton ball and wet it down.. Good idea, but do not apply full strength clorox, you will need to dilute it with water.
